রাজশাহী প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, খুলনা প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও চট্টগ্রাম প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বাংলাদেশের তিনটি স্বনামধন্য প্রকৌশল শিক্ষা বিস্তারকারী প্রকৌশল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়। দেশের বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তিখাতকে ক্রমাগত উন্নয়নের দিকে ধাবিত করতে প্রতিষ্ঠান তিনটি নিরলস কাজ করে যাচ্ছে। এখান থেকে ডিগ্রী অর্জন করে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা আজ বিশ্বের নামীদামি বিভিন্ন প্রতিষ্ঠানে সুনামের সাথে কর্মরত আছেন। সম্প্রতি সমন্বিত ভর্তি পরীক্ষার মাধ্যমে প্রতিষ্ঠান তিনটিতে শিক্ষার্থী ভর্তি করানো হচ্ছে।  ছাত্রছাত্রীদের সুবিধার্থে নিম্নে প্রকৌশল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় তিনটির বিভিন্ন বিভাগ ও এগুলোতে বিদ্যমান আসন সংখ্যা নিয়ে আলোচনা তুলে ধরা হলোঃ
